and arguably best-loved remains Mickey Mouse. Introduced by Walt
Disney Enterprises in the late 1920's, Mickey was an instant hit
and his popoularity has only grown over the years. Many different
products were made in his likeness -- as well as his friends Minnie
Mouse, Goofy and Pluto -- such as watches, wind-up toys, ceramic
figurines, games, jewelry, and clothing, to name just a few. Mickey
Mouse collectibles are still being produced today, and continue
to have an avid following. |
